Apply to SFP

To apply for SFP, follow the steps below.

Make sure you meet the requirements

SFP requires: 

  • Teaching degree, or alternatively, several years of experience working as a teacher and a degree in a subject that is included in a teacher's qualification.
  • You must be able to speak English at the level of English 4.
  • The programme is primarily for those who have resided in Sweden for less than three years, but you are also welcome to apply if you have lived more than three years in Sweden.

Fill in the SFP application form

Apply to the SFP programme by filling out the form. The form is located on Sfx website.

Send the completed application to Vuxenutbildningscentrum

On the envelope, specify which Sfx programme you are applying to.

Applying students from outside of Stockholm

If you are an applying student living in communes/municipalities outside of Stockholm you also need to send a copy of your application to vuxenutbildningscentrum in your home commune for approval to study in Stockholm.

Vuxenutbildningscentrum in Stockholm will contact you

After you have submitted your application for one of our programmes, you will receive an e-mail within two weeks when we start to process your application.

Vuxenutbildningscentrum (Center for Adult education) handles the application process for SIFA's educations. If you have questions about the application process you can contact Vuxenutbildningscentrum through email.
